Audrey Nord

Audit Senior

Audrey Nord says she’s known since she was 16 years old that she wanted to be an accountant and even worked at a bank part-time during high school and college. Upon graduation, Audrey became the accounting manager at that same bank and focused on passing the CPA exam.

Audrey’s professional experience includes serving as accountant for the Tennessee River Gorge Trust, a local conservation nonprofit, and later working as an accountant at another local firm.

“When I started looking for a new role, I had 3 nonnegotiable requirements that I was looking for before I made a change: 1) The firm had to be a leader in the Chattanooga market, 2 ) it had to have invested in the newest technology available, and 3) the company culture had to be non-traditional,” Audrey says. “I was looking for a dynamic firm that was not like all the rest. I did my research (a lot of research!) and MSP kept taking the top spot.”

When she’s not working, Audrey enjoys spending time with her husband, Tom, and two sons, Grant and Henry. The family loves traveling, especially internationally, and spending time camping in the mountains.
