Blake Todd, CPA
Assurance Manager
Blake joined the MSP team with nearly eight years of experience in public accounting, including five years at Deloitte, where he supervised audits for both public and private companies across a variety of industries such as manufacturing, utilities, financial services, construction, insurance, non-profits, and real estate investment companies. As a top performer, Blake was selected to hand count the ballots for the class of 2019 NFL Hall of Fame.
Throughout his career, both internally and externally, Blake has supported and advised others through complex accounting matters such as level three fair value measurements, joint ventures, complex waterfall structures, consolidation and variable interest considerations, single audits, ASC 940 reporting (investment companies), and the implementation of various accounting standards such as ASC 842 (leases) and ASC 326 (CECL).
‘‘Firm culture and team chemistry amongst the audit department brought me to MSP,” Blake says. “I am committed to providing practical, insightful guidance that supports high-quality financial reports, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.”
Outside of work, Blake enjoys playing competitive kickball, as well as amateur pickleball and golf. In the summertime, you can usually find him with his dog, Maverick, on Lake Chickamauga.
