Before he began his career in accounting, Sam Wicker worked in the golf course maintenance industry for about eight years — until 2022 when he started his first accounting internship. This eventually led Sam to work in tax for about a year and a half until he decided to make a change and switch to assurance work.

“I started working at MSP/S+H in January of 2024, and I have enjoyed every single day that I have been here!” Sam says. “The people are definitely what brought me to MSP. I had known several of the employees for almost a year before I joined the team, and I always felt like I was valued, even before I started working here.”

Outside of work, Sam enjoys a variety of extracurricular activities, including pickleball, golf, hiking, and an occasional video game.

Education: University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, BS; currently working on CPA licensure
